Police arrest rioting Maruti workers
Police arrested at least 80 rioting workers from India's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant after the company shut down the plant on July 18 following a violent clash between workers and management. The labourers vented their ire by causing extensive damaged to the furniture and by damaging vehicles parked inside the factory premises. At least 20 to 40 Managers and Executives were sent to hospital with injuries, Maruti said in a statement.
