Naxals force tribals out of their villages
Over 200 members of the Kharba tribe of Manjipeda village in Jharkhand's Chatra district have been leading miserable lives since 1996. They had earlier fought and killed half-a-dozen Naxals. Over a period of time, the Naxals forced them out of their villages. They left their homes and agricultural land because of naxal-led violence and are now fighting for survival. They relocated under police protection but the Naxals continue to threaten them.
