Maoists encounter: C'garh candlelight vigil
A group of social activist and Maoist sympathiser Swami Agnivesh's supporters joined him for a candlelight vigil in New Delhi to protest against the controversial Maoist battle with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Chattisgarh. In this exchange, 17 suspected Maoists were gunned down by the CRPF in an overnight gun-battle.
