Manipur witnessed a well-attended significant fashion show, the Manipur Fashion Extravaganza 2013, in the State capital of Imphal. The event was organised to project and showcase a blended fusion of east-west fashion culture in light of the fast trend of fashion hype in Manipur. Models sashayed down the ramp wearing traditional Manipuri costumes, which includes a shawl called 'innaphi', a 'phanek' and a wraparound skirt called a 'sarong', while the male models were seen wearing dhotis and jackets. Bollywood's renowned choreographer Achla Sachdev walked down the ramp as a showstopper.
