Krishna requests safety of Indian community
Foreign Minister S M Krishna has voiced his concern on the safety of the Indian community in the United States to the country's Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, after the shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. Krishna added that he had suggested some points to Clinton to ease the comfort level of the Indian community. President Barack Obama said that Americans need to do more "soul searching" to find ways to reduce violence in the wake of the deadly weekend shooting spree at the Gurudwara in Wisconsin that killed five men and one woman.
