Italian marines return to Kochi
Keeping their word of returning back to India, the two Italian Marines facing murder charges in Kerala have arrived at Kochi in a special charter plane after celebrating Christmas with their families. Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone were allowed to go home for two weeks by the Kerala High Court. The two marines will soon leave for Kollam court to surrender their passports. The marines were arrested on February 19 last year for shooting two Indian fishermen to death from onboard the merchant vessel 'Enrica Lexie', after they 'mistook' them for Somali pirates.
