Infant dies as father can't pay Rs. 200
In a shocking incident, a five-day-old newborn child died in a civil hospital in Jalandhar district of Punjab, as the parents alleged that the doctors had removed the baby from the incubator as they failed to pay Rs.200. The baby girl was born on July 20 and was kept in an incubator, as it was a premature birth. Father of the dead infant Sanjeev Kumar said that the removal of the child from the incubator over non-payment of dues led to the demise of his baby.
