Despite the nationwide protest against anti-women crime, incidents of sexual harassment against women have failed to cease, defying the trust of the people in the society and the government. In a recent incident, a group of three boys have been arrested and severely reprimanded by the police for harassing girls at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. In another shocking incident of eve teasing, a 30-year-old woman jumped off a moving train in Arrah region of Bihar after she was molested by some passengers.
