Agitated with more than a month-long strike by the Air India pilots, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh slammed the pilots once again by calling the strike 'illegal and unlawful'. In Mumbai, Singh said despite having continuous dialogue with the pilots, they have not resumed work. Singh said Air India was in a big financial mess and just when the Rs. 30,000 crore bailout package was approved for the sick airline, the pilots went on strike.
