From all the donations collected from the TV show 'Satyamev Jayate', NGO Snehalaya has managed to build a shelter in Ahmednagar. Aamir Khan had requested the viewers of 'Satyamev Jayate' to send in donations in the name of the Snehalaya Foundation. The NGO had managed to collect approximately Rs 1.13 crores. This money was used to build a shelter for helpless women, children and rape victims in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
